Ages: Dan- 17, Phil- 19
Summary: Dan has a secret. But it’s not a bad one. Or at least, it shouldn’t be.

When the moon is bright and high in the inky black sky, Dan Howell changes. No, he’s not a werewolf, he can hardly grow stubble. No, when the stars appear, scattered across the sky, high above the earth, Dan Howell becomes himself. Everyday he goes to school. He has to wear the stupid school shirts that are too loose on his body and the useless trousers that feel foreign around his slim legs. His too broad blazer always sits uncomfortably on his shoulders and he hated his thick, clompy school shoes. He allowed himself to wear a thin line of eyeliner and had died his fringe red. But he still wasn’t comfortable. It didn’t feel right. It never quite felt right.
